Intro

Brian Riemer (aka beeriems) has been writing and making music ever since he was 8 years old when his first band, The Siblings, formed in his childhood basement. Since then, his passion for music in all its forms has continued to grow exponentially, making for a wide-ranging portfolio.

Hey it’s me. I’m going to stop writing in third person now. I just like the idea of someone announcing me like I’m Michael Jordan in Space Jam (NEXT UP FOR THE TOON SQUAD, ALL THE WAY FROM NORTH CAROLINA, HIS AIRNESS… you get the picture).

I graduated from Columbia College of Chicago with a Bachelor of Music in composition. I have a passion for 80s music, the modern indie-pop scene, movie scores, songs for movies, jingles, et cetera et cetera. I am a serial optimist, a hard worker, and a big dreamer. And I want your project to be my next project.

My CV

My background is in musical theater, pop, and rock styles, but I have collaborated for studio art, video games, podcasts, live stories, theater, and film creating songs, soundscapes, scores, and ambient music. I’ve recently been writing, producing, mixing, and mastering a solo synthpop project called beeriems.

I play piano, guitar, synth, bass, drums, ukelele, banjo, mandolin, percussion, and am fluent in Logic, Ableton, FL Studio, Audacity, Pro Tools, and Final Cut Pro.
